Apple - Trailers - Over Her Dead Body

I don't even have to add my own commentary. Just read the description of this movie called Over Her Dead Body:

Devastated when his fiancĂ©e Kate (Eva Longoria Parker) is killed on their wedding day, Henry (Paul Rudd) reluctantly agrees to consult a psychic named Ashley (Lake Bell) at the urging of his sister Chloe (Lindsay Sloane). Despite his skepticism over her psychic abilities, Henry finds himself falling hard for Ashley, and vice versa. But there is a big snag. Ashley is being haunted by Kate’s ghost, who considers it her heavenly duty to break up Henry and Ashley's fledgling romance, if it is the last thing she does on this earthly plane...

This sounds like an even kookier version of Just Like Heaven, which had Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo.

The Accidental Husband

Colin Firth has obviously been busy, which is mostly good news for me. He's got the Mamma Mia movie coming out and now there is this trailer for The Accidental Husband. The trailer actually looks somewhat tragic, but maybe it will be okay? Maybe?

Top Gear

I'm not sure if the tomcat will be excited about this or slightly afraid. NBC will be creating an American version of the British car show Top Gear. The British show is pretty darn hilarious, but I'm not sure if NBC will be able to create the magic for their US version. Will this be like NBC Coupling or like NBC Office? Hmmm.

Fun at Target

I love Target and they have had some really cool celebrity designers doing lines for them, and now Dwell Studio will be doing a home line for them, which is very exciting because they have very cool prints!

Olympics coverage

The tomcat is very excited about the fact that a billion hours (okay, not really) of the Olmpic will be put in MSN, so you can just go crazy watching Olympic coverage when it rolls around... I'm sure gecko will be glued to it...

'The Wire' creator sets his sights on New Orleans- NOLA.com

Here's an update from The Wire creator (David Simon) on his New Orleans project - it's still in progress and not close to being done. Disappointing since I'm looking forward to it, but I have high hopes when it does get finished...

Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl is moving to Mondays, and will replay the whole season from the beginning in hopes of finding new fans. I've really enjoyed the show and gotten a number of people hooked on it, including totoro, so this is your chance to catch it the second time around!

Dexter

The Showtime show Dexter will start airing on CBS starting on February 17th. I've been meaning to watch that show, but haven't quite gotten around to it on my Netflix queue. By the way, I just restarted HBO so I can watch the last season of the Wire, and boy, am I excited...

The ethics of "stealing" a WiFi connection

Looks like there has been some media coverage of the ethics of "stealing" a WiFi connection. I think it's bizarre that anyone would think of this as stealing, and this article covers the weirdness of this argument.

Planet B-Boy

Here's an awesome trailer for a new breakdancing movie called Planet B-Boy that has some really cool dance sequences. I'm ready to put this on my Netflix queue!

Sarah Connor Chronicles

If you are really excited about seeing the new Fox show Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, it will be available online starting tonight at midnight even though the show doesn't air until a couple weeks from now. I know the tomcat will be all over this, if he isn't too busy playing his new XBox 360...

By the way, the tomcat bought me a DS game called PuzzleQuest, which was also recommended by totoro, and it is addictively fun. It's basically Bejeweled with an RPG aspect and I'm totally enjoying it. And I also got DDR for the Wii so cc2 and I are working on our dance skills!
