Alias moves to Wednesdays at 8 pm and will premiere on April 19. What About Brian, the other JJ Abrams show, starts on April 16th.

David Cross from Arrested Development will be creating an animated show. I'm frightened and yet intrigued.

Phil Keoghan's diary of the first leg of the new season of the Amazing Race, which is starting tonight. But beware, I think he spoils some of what happens during the episode.

A recap of the Tivo dating event I was so hoping I'd recognize someone in the pictures.

Studio Ghibli is doing animated movies of the Earthsea books. I certainly hope it's better than the SciFi channel miniseries that starred Kristin Kreuk...

You can buy a phone call with Summer! Or rather, with Rachel Bilson, who is probably pretty much Summer. Bid here.

Uh, TiVo had a singles mixer. Maybe this will be a better revenue stream? (from tvtattle)

Bravo is launching BrilliantButCancelled.com, which will be a broadband "network" that has shows that were cancelled before their time. I have to say that I'm complete baffled by what a broadband network is. Digital cable? Do I buy it or download it from their site? I'm totally confused.

There is some wild, wild speculation that Firefly could be resurrected as a series on the CW network.
Also, does anyone think it's funny that there have been radio spots for Applebee's featuring the song Mambo #5?

Charmed is probably ending this season, which honestly is probably a blessing since it has never been as good since Shannen left, and yet I keep watching because it's actually intermittently semi-entertaining (the problem here is probably me...).

The status on Arrested Development: It has basically been cancelled on Fox and the creator of the show is deciding whether to accept an offer on a different network, the most inviting of which is Showtime. However, Mitch Hurwitz isn't sure he wants to deal with the emotional toll anymore, so he has until June 15 to accept a deal.

Now you'll know where to go for 24/7 Internet access in New York, when you are without a computer Do you think that there is currently an unmet need for the late night gotta-have-it-now iPod run? Although it may be more popular for the tragic 3 am sad Mac incidents. Here's hoping they staff the Genius Bar well in the wee hours.

So I like the music of the musician character on Love Monkey which is kind of John Mayer-esque, but after seeing his myspace page (where you can listen to some of the songs), I'm not sure I can buy the album, because well, there are so many teenage grrrrrrls who LOVE him. iTunes reinforces the fear. Awesome.

Unfortunately, the Amazing Race's new timeslot means that Love Monkey has been bumped from CBS' schedule.

I think the Cutting Edge sequel is going direct to DVD. There is conflicting information on the release date; IMDB says that it is still in production, Amazon says March 28 and Netflix says February 7. But it's on my queue!

I finally got around to watching the first two episodes of Love Monkey, the show with Tom Cavanaugh, where he is a record label rep or something. Anyway, it's not brilliant, but I've found it really enjoyable. The humor makes me laugh and it's great to see Judy Greer as the pretty, fun friend, as opposed to the neurotic best friend (The Wedding Planner) or psychotic secretary (Arrested Development). So, you should check it out. Tuesdays at 10 pm.
