State of the Union

I was trying to figure out why there is no new Lost or Alias, this week; Alias in particular, since ABC said it would be running without repeats until the end of the season. Well, I had completely forgotten (or more honestly, was completely oblivious) that the State of the Union address is this Wednesday. I always thought it was in January, but I guess my grasp of when this speech happens is not as ingrained, as say, the first Tuesday in November is Election Day (I hope), or April 15 is Tax Day. Anyway, sadly, it's a bit of a blessing, as it means that I won't have as much TiVo backlog for this week and next.
