I just realized that the Cutting Edge sequel is actually an ABC family movie. Now I'm torn between being trying to avoid the crap that is ABC family movies (they used to be kind of cute) and being inexplicably drawn to anything with the Cutting Edge. Curses.

this is so funny - it looks more like a remake than a sequel? I can't wait.
It's really only a sequel in the way that Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights was a sequel. It has a similar premise and is based on the daughter of the original characters from the Cutting Edge. The movie is now on my TiVo so I'll have to watch and report back on how it was.
