HBO is putting some of their shows on the iTunes Store. I'm intrigued by this, but I've already seen the shows that they have posted, that I'm interested in. I wonder if they will only be posting stuff from their archives, not new stuff. I would be pretty excited if Showtime also got on this bandwagon, since they have some interesting shows too.

The bigger news seems to be that Apple is letting HBO do some variable pricing. So it looks like HBO's DVD gouging will continue online. This could also be a slippery slope with Apple's other content providers who've been keen to get variable pricing for some time.
