Gecko, the tomcat and I watched Celebrity Duets last night and it was both entertaining and completely a train wreck. Lots of plastic surgery going on with the older folks. Little Richard is completely (and I do mean completely) incoherent in his reviews - we started fast-forwarding whenever he talks. Jai, the Queer Eye guy, is good. Carly Patterson, Olympic gymnast, not so good. Lea Thompson, pretty good. And there were some great musical guests, including Smokey Robinson (woo!), Peter Frampton and Gladys Knight. It was pretty funny, although if it doesn't improve, it might get dropped in favor of more exciting fall fare.
