NBC Direct launches

NBC Direct launches, but with lots of caveats. You can only download episodes of The Office, 30 Rock, Friday Night Lights, Bionic Woman, and Life, and even then you can only download the most recent ep and must watch it within 48 hours. That sounds like a total pain in the butt. I guess the networks want to try out various business models and they have the flexibility to keep experimenting until they find one that works, at least for some period of time... Better to be too strict, rather than not strict enough and then try to change later on, I guess...
