'One Tree Hill' deals with the awkward transition most shows have when taking their characters from high school to college in a different and novel way - they're skipping it and putting the show forward four years, which will make the actors look much more age appropriate as well... I never watch this show, but thought it was funny that they were doing the fast forward.
