I am so not surprised by this. People seem to actually like this show for some reason. Could it be the generically bratty teenage girl? Perhaps the angst-ridden teenage boy who has a crush on his much-older surf instructor. I think I'll continue to try to ignore that this show actually exists and instead watch reruns of Coupling on BBC America.
