Faith + Joss Whedon + Fox = sqee!

Yowza, look at this! Joss Whedon has already gotten a seven episode commitment for a new show for Fox, that will star Eliza Dushku. I'm a bit frightened that it will suffer the same fate as Firefly, but for now, I'm going to stay optimistic. And get this - Eliza will be living in a "a futuristic dorm" with a bunch of other Jason Bourne-like secret agents who get the memories erased after assignments.

There's an interview with Whedon in the article, and he does comment that 20th Century Fox genuinely is trying to resolve the issue with the Buffy musicals so that they can restart. Ooh, apparently Joss thinks the Eliza show might even be ready as soon as spring, provided the writer's strike doesn't derail that...
