No Reservations

Well, I guess Catherine Zeta-Jones has decided to start working again, and her next movie is No Reservations, which appears to be a hybrid romantic comedy/taking care of an orphaned kid story. The romantic lead is Aaron Eckhart and the trailer is just schamaltzy enough to get me. I'm sad to say I found it tugging at my heartstrings. I'm a total loser.

I had to IMDB Aaron Eckhart. He looks different than he did as a biker dude in Erin Brockovich! Also, I saw the movie Neverwas on a plane a few months ago (in which he played the leading role and apparently also produced). It was ok, not great, but it struck me as really strange at the time that the movie had so many notables in it (Brittany Murphy, Ian McKellen, Nick Nolte) and yet I'd never heard of it.

He was also in Thank You for Smoking, which I thought was pretty funny

Oh, I never saw that movie.

I saw the trailer for this on Apple.com a while ago and I couldn't even finish watching it.

In other news, Spider-man 3 sucked even more than the original, and that is hard to do.

totoro - obviously, you should blog about Spiderman 3. And whatever, your friends will probably drag you to No Reservations, so don't think you won't end up watching it.

Yes, I think my fate is sealed on this one. At least I'll know what I'm getting into, as opposed to Spider-man which was billed as something completely different than what it actually was.
