Lost will be back on 3/30

Instead of a long, long hiatus until April 13, in which we totally forget what has happened in the entire season so far, we'll get a new Lost episode on March 30.

Alexis Bledel is leaving behind shy bookish Rory and the cheesy girl from Tuck Everlasting with her latest role in Sin City.

And, Jessica Alba is going to be in a snorkel/scuba treasure hunt-shipwreck salvage action thriller. No really.

An NYT article about how many tv show writing teams don't plan out ahead of time how their seasons will end. There's also an minor reference that one of the actors didn't like his story arc in the season finale of the O.C. and might have gotten it changed at the last minute. Warning: there's a few spoilers in terms of plot points for Lost, but it's a fun read.
