I ended up watching a bit of The Hills because gecko and her friend pl were watching, and now I really have no qualms or questions in my mind about what I'm missing. What I'm missing is the equivalent of sitting at a restaurant next to people who are having the most annoying conversation EVER. There was conversation about a six month anniversary, and whether a girl should talk to a guy she went on one date with. It was the most painful thing ever.

I definitely wonder how much MTV is setting up situations with the main character's job to mess with her, and how much input the actual teenagers get into the plot/situations. Anyway, I'm now going to run screaming from any episodes of Laguna Beach and the Hills.
