I watched two episodes of the VH1 World Series of Pop Culture show. Any thought in my mind that I might have a reasonable grasp of pop culture were dashed, when I was watching the rounds. Unfortunately, I was not pop culture-y enough when I was a kid, so I need another twenty years before I'll have a broad knowledge. Of course, if the category was Lindsay Lohan exploits, I'd probably do embarrassingly well, because she's so overexposed. Anyway, the show is reasonably well structured (but not great), and the questions and categories are fun, although the contestents seem weird and largely annoying (I don't think they get out enough - too much TV and movies, I guess). So it's a fun show to watch while you're eating dinner or doing your ironing.
